Role Overview:
As a
Hematologist Advisor, you will play a crucial role in evaluating healthcare startups, analyzing clinical efficacy, and advising on investment opportunities in hematology-related therapeutics, diagnostics, and medical technologies. Your expertise will help shape our investment strategy and ensure we back companies with strong clinical and commercial potential.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Hematologist Advisor to assess emerging companies in hematology and adjacent fields.
- Provide expert insights on medical advancements, clinical trial designs, and regulatory pathways.
- Evaluate the scientific validity and market potential of new therapies, diagnostics, and technologies.
- Collaborate with our investment team to conduct due diligence on potential investments.
- Engage with startup founders, medical researchers, and regulatory experts to assess clinical feasibility.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and breakthrough innovations in hematology.
- Represent the firm in medical conferences, industry events, and advisory panels when needed.
Qualifications:
- MD, PhD, or equivalent with board certification in Hematology.
- Extensive clinical and/or research experience in hematology, oncology, or related specialties.
- Familiarity with biotech, pharma, digital health, and emerging healthcare innovations.
- Prior experience advising or working with venture capital, startups, or healthcare investments is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess the clinical and commercial viability of new technologies.
- Excellent communication and ability to translate complex medical data for investors and entrepreneurs.
