Opportunity for Impact
We are seeking a Chief of Staff to work closely with our CEO and senior leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, operational execution, and company-wide effectiveness. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution, supporting Mantra's growth while improving leadership effectiveness and operational efficiency.
As a tech-enabled mental healthcare company in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, our leadership team is responsible for aligning business strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and execution. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments and is looking for broad exposure to business operations, strategy, and executive decision-making.
What You'll Do
- Drive strategic initiatives by collaborating with the CEO and senior leadership to execute high-impact projects and company-wide operations.
- Optimize leadership operations by managing and coordinating senior leadership meetings, driving executive decision-making processes, and ensuring key initiatives stay on track.
- Lead the preparation of board materials, investor presentations, and key reports to support fundraising and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and execute complex, high-priority projects across teams, sometimes representing the CEO to maintain momentum and alignment.
- Partner with the CEO to optimize CEO's time and schedule, executive offsites, and critical business communications, ensuring priorities are effectively managed.
Who You Are
- Strategic Operator: 6+ years of experience driving execution and operational excellence in high-growth environments, ideally in a private equity-backed tech-enabled services company (100-1,000 employees). An additional 2+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development is highly valued.
- Project Leader & Problem Solver: Thrive in a fast-moving environment where you can manage complex, cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment and progress while staying adaptable to shifting priorities. Capable of representing the CEO in high-stakes meetings and driving decisions forward.
- Data-Driven & Execution-Focused: Use data and structured analysis to inform decision-making, optimize processes, and ensure high-quality execution in everything from board materials to strategic initiatives. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, business analytics, and translating insights into action.
- Executive Partner & Trusted Communicator: Comfortable working closely with senior leadership, anticipating needs, distilling complex information, and managing high-stakes communications with clarity and precision. Strong presentation and storytelling skills with experience creating investor decks and board materials.
- Detail-Oriented & Process-Minded: Highly organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, driving accountability and operational efficiency across teams. Advanced project management skills with a track record of delivering high-impact initiatives on time.
- Values-Driven: Deeply aligned with Mantra's mission, vision, and values, with a strong commitment to improving mental health care access and outcomes. Experience in healthcare, digital health, or ed-tech is a plus.
- Ambitious & Eager to Learn: Excited to take on a high-impact role with significant exposure to leadership, work hard, and learn from experienced executives while growing as a strategic leader. MBA from a top-tier program is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary + eligibility for a performance bonus ($15,000 - $30,000).
