Client Service Representative (CSR)
Position Overview:
Ged Lawyers, LLP is a law firm headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, expanding into Massachusetts, with offices in Rehoboth & Middleton, MA. We specialize in PIP(personal injury protection), motor vehicle accidents, personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, estate planning, product liability and business interruption law.
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position serves as the main point of contact for our Personal Injury Protection (PIP) clients. This is a specialized role requiring the ability to review paper, digital & remote patient medical files and the ability to build/maintain client (PIP medical provider) relationships. This role obtains PIP patient medical files from our clients/medical providers, and all the required data necessary to create and assist the PIP litigation process. This position requires current and past medical office experience, great customer service skills, attention to detail, excellent written/verbal communication, and exceptional organizational skills.
Must have medical billing experience and be familiar with medical providers in the state. Must be able to travel throughout MA, as business requires.
Essential Job Functions
- Onboard and service new and existing clients (PIP medical providers)
- Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships
- Efficiently review client patient files in a strategic manner, every 45 days
- Verify, scan & upload pertinent medical documents (AOB’s, EOB’s, patient ledgers & HCFA’s) needed to send a demand letter to the insurance carrier
- Meet annual KPI goals (client case volume & client reviews)
- Follow up and obtain all information needed for rejected patient files
- Understand and decipher insurance policy language
- Ability to determine available insurance benefits and/or if benefits are exhausted
- Demonstrate ability to establish collaborative client relationships to retain their business, loyalty and obtain referrals
- Navigate Ged Lawyers client financial portal and print reports prior to client visits
- Understand the use of CPT codes, ICD 9/10 codes, modifiers, denial codes, and fee schedules (Medicare/Workers’ Compensation)
- Calculate payments of claims according to fee schedule and determine available benefits and/or if benefits are exhausted
- Use of basic mathematical skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and
Division
- Knowledge of the difference between a policy number/claim number, what they represent, and how it affects the process
- Identify problems and solve according to protocol
- Ensure proper processing of Clients that require special criteria
- Identify and escalate any client service challenges so they can work to resolution
- Maintain and uphold the privacy, confidentiality and security of protected health information internal and external to the work environment for written, verbal and/or electronic communication in compliance with HIPPA Privacy Rule
Requirements
- Ability to travel (up to 2 hrs one way) M‐F to client offices (in and around both the Boston, MA area, during client core office hours of 8:30‐5:30pm
- Able to travel throughout MA, as business requires
- 80% of time will be spent at client offices; 20% of time will be spent working from home or in either the Rehoboth or Middleton, MA offices
- Familiarity with medical billing software, such as ChiroTouch, eClinical Works, etc
- Medical coding/billing experience preferred
- Digitally oriented, with proficient computer skills
- Ability to learn & utilize Ged Lawyers LLC proprietary client software
- Scan, Import, and create file folders, digitally
- Ability to track daily/weekly measured productivity
- Organizational skills, with special attention to detail
- Excellent written & verbal communication (including email, phone and in person)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet monthly/annual individual and team goals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Adobe Reader/Acrobat
- Experience with Flash Drive Usage
- Ability to meet deadlines and respond to requests in timely manner
- Self‐motivated and ability to work independently
- Dress appropriately for professional office environments
- Demonstrate professionalism with clients

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
