Forum's Venture Studio is a leading early-stage fund and program for B2B SaaS startups. Starting a company is demanding, complex, and psychologically challenging. As former founders and early-stage operators, we understand firsthand that Founders need support, honest feedback, and someone who truly cares in their corner.
Our mission is to make the journey easier and more successful for Founders, and we've achieved this by making over 350+ seed investments that have raised $600M+ in follow-on funding. Forum founders have gone on to raise from funds like Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, Uncork Capital, 8VC, Founders Fund, Menlo Ventures, Canaan, Bowery Capital, Susa Ventures, SV Angel, and more.
We’re looking for a Founder/CEO to lead a venture focused on revolutionizing PDT reimbursement. This platform will streamline claims, address regulatory challenges, and facilitate widespread adoption of digital therapeutics in value-based care models.
What are we exploring?
The Prescription Digital Therapeutics (PDT) market is poised for explosive growth, projected to skyrocket from $8.28 billion in 2024 to $41.4 billion by 2033. Despite this rapid expansion, payers and providers face significant hurdles in reimbursement—unclear standards, inefficient claims processes, and inconsistent coverage create barriers to integrating PDTs into existing systems. These challenges reflect broader issues in value-based care (VBC), where outdated legacy payment infrastructure struggles to keep pace with modern healthcare innovations.
The opportunity lies in building a payment platform specifically designed for VBC models, with PDT reimbursement as a strategic entry point. By streamlining claims processes and addressing regulatory complexities, such a solution could simplify reimbursement for payers and providers, driving the widespread adoption of digital therapeutics. This is a pivotal moment to bridge the gap between innovation and implementation, paving the way for a more efficient and effective healthcare system.
