25m Health is a venture studio that incubates and invests in early-stage healthtech startups in partnership with 25madison, Lifepoint Health, ScionHealth, and Apollo Global Management. Our team, based in Nashville and New York City, partners with entrepreneurs at the earliest stages across engineering (full-stack, security, data science), strategy (fundraising, product, research), design (UI/UX, branding, marketing), and back-office (hiring, legal, accounting, tax). About The Role
As an Associate at 25m Health, you will be at the forefront of identifying and developing innovative digital health solutions. The Associate role offers a blend of exposure to startup creation, venture investing, and portfolio company management. Additionally, this role will offer exposure to senior executives at 25madison, Lifepoint, Scion, and across our portfolio. The role is ideal for a dynamic and innovative thinker, passionate about leveraging technology to solve the hardest healthcare challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Ideation: Collaborate with the 25m Health team to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas for healthcare applications. Leverage your background to ensure ideas are feasible and market driven.
- Sourcing: Proactively identify and engage with promising startups and entrepreneurs in the space. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential incubations, investments, and partnerships (investors, entrepreneurs, & strategic partners).
- Market research: Conduct thorough market research to size opportunity spaces, validate pain points, and frame up competitive landscapes. Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements in the digital health space.
- Portfolio Success: Play an active role in the success of our early-stage businesses, which can include:
- Building financial and operating models for internally incubated startups
- Developing customer and external-facing decks for sales and fundraising
- Supporting CEOs and functional leads at portfolio companies with their next hire
- Collaboration with our Healthcare Partners: Work closely with our Strategic Partner Coalition, comprised of the largest national health systems, to identify specific pain points and operational challenges. Craft solutions that address these issues from cost cutting to driving growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with all stakeholders, including partner executives, entrepreneurs, and team members to ensure alignment and foster collaborative relationships
About You
- 3-4 years of professional experience in healthcare or healthtech, preferably in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Venture Capital, and/or start-ups
- Candidates should be very detail-oriented, strong researchers, highly competitive, extremely passionate about healthcare and/or venture capital / early-stage company building, have demonstrated ability to work hard, intelligent and curious
- Experience leading heavy quantitative analysis (financial modeling, pricing, market sizing, etc.) and qualitative analysis (customer discovery interviews, market mapping, etc.)
- Passion for innovation and technology, with a keen interest in healthcare
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) skills
- Experience navigating project ambiguity and dynamic work environments
- Demonstrated ability to be entrepreneurial and a self-starter

Target Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 – 140,000. Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. The salary reflected does not include an annual discretionary bonus, equity compensation, or other benefits offered by the Company, as applicable.
