You'll play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality patient experience at Knox Clinic—a nonprofit community health center providing compassionate medical, dental, and behavioral health care.
This advanced administrative position supports excellence in primary care patient access, billing accuracy, and digital engagement while mentoring staff and collaborating across departments. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who models professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to care for all patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead patient registration, eligibility verification, and financial assistance processes
- Serve as a front-end revenue cycle and patient experience lead
- Oversee scheduling, data accuracy, and patient satisfaction initiatives
- Promote digital engagement including telehealth and patient portal access
- Support compliance with HRSA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards

What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required;
- Clerical healthcare experience with advanced knowledge of insurance billing, registration, and eligibility verification
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and electronic health records (EHR)
- A positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, trauma-informed care and continuous improvement
