About CuraFi
CuraFi is a venture-funded digital health startup headquartered in Silicon Valley. We partner with provider groups, health plans, and risk-bearing organizations to improve specialty drug management, streamline prior authorization/utilization management (PA/UM), and deliver measurable cost savings through our technology platform and clinical expertise.
We are looking for an Operations & Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, can drive projects to completion, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done. This role is a unique growth opportunity for someone eager to shape how CuraFi scales -- building processes, playbooks, and infrastructure to support our rapidly growing client base.
ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution
- Lead operational and client-facing projects from planning to execution, ensuring deliverables meet CuraFi and client standards.
- Develop timelines, track milestones, and manage dependencies across internal teams and external partners.
- Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks, creating mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Client Operations & Relationship Management
- Work directly with physician practices, RBOs, and health plans to ensure smooth implementation of CuraFi’s solutions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for operational questions, workflow coordination, and issue resolution.
- Support provider training and onboarding for CuraFi tools, including EMR overlays and PA/UM workflows.
Process Building & Scalability
- Design and implement repeatable processes as CuraFi scales, creating structure for operations, client success, and cross-team workflows.
- Build documentation, playbooks, and SOPs that make the team more effective as we grow.
- Continuously improve workflows, moving from “manual fixes” to “systemized solutions.”
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with CuraFi’s product, engineering, and clinical teams to design scalable solutions that meet client needs.
- Translate client requirements into system specifications and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support compliance, reporting, and governance committee activities.
QualificationsRequired:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, or provider/health plan engagement.
- Demonstrated experience working with physician practices, health plans, or RBOs/IPA networks.
- Knowledge of drug management workflows, prior authorization, and utilization management (PA/UM).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- A true self-starter — someone who can take a messy, undefined problem and turn it into a structured solution.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to grind through challenges, build processes from scratch, and push projects forward in a startup environment.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CMS Part B/Part D drug policies, specialty drug management, and Health plan outcome metrics.
- Technical know-how: comfortable using EMRs, healthcare software, and productivity tools; basic data/Excel/SQL skills a plus.
- Experience supporting clinical teams (pharmacists, physicians) in operational workflows.
