Chronic Pain is a growing problem that affects more than 20% of US adults. Healing Track is a pioneering digital health company transforming how chronic pain is treated. Our platform delivers Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a groundbreaking, neuroscience-based approach that helps people rewire the neural pathways sustaining their pain. In a recent randomized clinical trial published in JAMA Psychiatry, 66% of participants receiving PRT were pain-free or nearly pain-free after just 4 weeks.
We are building an interactive, personalized therapeutic experience that goes far beyond a static content library. Our vision: to create a clinically aligned, highly engaging mobile app that empowers users to take control of their recovery through therapeutic gamification, adaptive content, and dynamic personalization. We are also integrating AI-driven coaching and program customization features to extend the reach of expert therapy, with the goal of creating a scalable, intelligent (and likable!) companion that can guide users through their healing journey.
We’re looking for a Chief Product Officer to own the product vision from MVP to general availability along with the overall member experience from first outreach through reporting. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, can translate clinical expertise into transformative user experiences, and knows how to take a digital health product from concept to market impact. As the bridge between our executive team and development partners, you will translate the founders’ vision into an innovative product to transform the lives of people with chronic pain by setting clear priorities, building a high-performing product organization, and ensuring we deliver measurable outcomes for users, clients and providers.
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
• Own the Product Roadmap: Define, maintain, and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company strategy.
• Ownership of initial product marketing: product positioning, basic member marketing and reporting for first client
• Lead MVP Development: Oversee design and engineering teams to build, test, and refine our initial product launch.
• Translate Clinical Principles into UX: Work closely with PRT experts and the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) to ensure product features reflect therapeutic best practices while engaging users through behavioral design, gamification, and personalization.
• Build the Product Team: Recruit and manage designers, engineers, and product managers as we grow.
• Prioritize for Impact: Use data, user feedback, and clinical insight to prioritize backlog items that maximize therapeutic outcomes and market success.
• Drive Agile Execution: Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring fast iteration without sacrificing quality.
• Leverage Emerging Technology: Explore and integrate AI and other tech capabilities that enhance personalization, engagement, and therapeutic outcomes all while improving product development times
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Head of Product or equivalent senior product leadership role in B2B2C company. Experience in the digital health and wellness space a plus.
• Successful track record launching mobile apps in regulated or clinically sensitive environments.
• Expertise in behavioral design and translating clinical or therapeutic frameworks into scalable digital experiences.
• Strong agile/scrum leadership, with the ability to move fast while maintaining product integrity.
• Skilled in cross-functional leadership, especially in early-stage startups where resources are lean and priorities shift quickly.
• Significant experience with product analytics around member engagement to drive improved member experience, client reporting and product growth strategies.
• Preferred: Experience with AI-powered features, personalization algorithms, or conversational interfaces in consumer-facing health products.
