Blu Omega is seeking an experienced AI & Digital Health Program Strategist to provide technical, strategic, and operational support for ARPA-H initiatives. This role will focus on identifying, evaluating, and advancing novel proactive health solutions—particularly those leveraging AI, digital health tools, passive sensing, and adaptive treatment strategies—to improve health outcomes and enable scalable, real-world impact.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical assistance in developing and evaluating programs, ensuring alignment with ARPA-H’s mission
- Research and assess novel technical concepts for proactive health, including AI-driven tools, digital phenotyping, passive sensing, and remote monitoring
- Advise on business planning, commercial market analysis, product development, and intellectual property considerations
- Evaluate potential solutions for likelihood of broad adoption and commercialization
- Support project planning, execution, documentation, and compliance with relevant healthcare technology regulations
- Address data privacy, security, and ethical considerations in the use of personal health data
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—clinicians, scientists, engineers, and other experts—to achieve program goals
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation, presentations, and visual materials to communicate program strategy, progress, and outcomes
Qualifications:
- Due to federal requirements, employment eligibility is limited to U.S. citizens
- 4+ years of experience in project management, research management, or related fields
- Clinical research experience with patient populations; knowledge of human subjects protections and ethical considerations
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in presentation development
- Expertise in leveraging AI-supported solutions (e.g., model selection, training considerations) and digital health technologies (e.g., remote monitoring, adaptive treatment strategies)
- Insight into healthcare challenges, clinical care models, and the regulatory landscape for digital health
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across medicine, engineering, and research domains
- Awareness of privacy, security, and ethical concerns in personal health data usage
Education:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D.) in psychology, biology, public health, neuroscience, integrative health, physiology, medicine, or related field with a focus on clinically relevant pain, health behavior (e.g., adherence), or mental health applications is required
Salary Range: $140,000K -$190,000K
Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
