VP, Digital Experience
As Vice President, Digital Experience at CAVA, you'll be at the forefront of defining and executing our entire digital journey. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, you'll be the visionary leader overseeing our UX Design and Content Strategy teams. Your core responsibility will be to shape how guests interact with the CAVA brand across all digital channels, including our mobile app, web, in-store platforms, and through personalized engagement.

What You’ll Do:
- Define and drive the holistic digital product and design vision for CAVA across mobile app, web, kiosk, and emerging guest-facing digital channels.
- Translate CAVA’s brand strategy, values, and hospitality into intuitive, scalable, and emotionally resonant digital experiences.
- Develop and continuously refine the enterprise-wide digital roadmap, balancing short-term wins with long-term innovation.
- Champion a guest-first mindset across all initiatives, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across the entire digital ecosystem.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies (AI, personalization engines, conversational interfaces, etc.) to advance the guest experience.
- Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams across Product Management and UX Design, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish clear team goals, ownership structures, and career paths to support both performance and growth.
- Build rituals, practices, and standards that elevate design and product quality while accelerating decision-making.
- Partner with the Chief Experience Officer and senior peers to shape broader Experience and Technology organizational strategy.
- Serve as a visible champion for design and product excellence across the company, mentoring both direct and indirect team members.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Strategy, and Analytics to align digital product development with business goals and operational realities.
- Shape and oversee the full product development lifecycle — from discovery, testing, and validation to delivery, optimization, and measurement.
- Guide the evolution and governance of CAVA’s digital design system and style guide to ensure scalability, consistency, and speed to market.
- Drive the execution of major cross-functional initiatives such as loyalty, personalization, mobile ordering, and in-store digital enhancements.
- Represent the Digital team in executive conversations, board updates, and enterprise planning efforts.
- Champion data-informed, segmented experiences that drive digital engagement, conversion, frequency, and lifetime value.
- Own and report on key performance metrics including adoption, retention, satisfaction, digital revenue, and experience health.
- Build and nurture relationships with external platforms, vendors, and technology partners to accelerate capability development.
- Keep a pulse on restaurant, retail, and consumer tech trends — bringing competitive insights, innovation, and experimentation into CAVA’s product strategy.
- Represent CAVA’s digital vision externally at industry events, thought leadership forums, or in partnership conversations.
The Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in digital product management, UX design, or experience strategy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling guest-facing digital products in fast-paced, high-growth environments (restaurant, retail, e-commerce, or hospitality preferred).
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Product and Design, with demonstrated success in driving cross-functional execution and digital innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or MS in HCI, Design, or related field) preferred
- Expert in digital product strategy, lifecycle management, and platform innovation across web, app, and kiosk
- Skilled at turning brand vision and guest insights into scalable, elegant digital experiences
- Balances guest value, tech feasibility, and business outcomes with strong product instincts
- Future-focused thinker with a sharp eye on industry trends and guest-first strategy
- Proven leader in building and scaling high-performing Product and UX teams
- Strong coach and mentor who fosters ownership, curiosity, and accountability
- Inclusive leader who cultivates collaborative, psychologically safe environments
- Experienced in org design, hiring, and team operations to support rapid growth
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

- Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
- Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
