Job Overview
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) professional with a strong clinical background and technical ability to join our leadership team as a Patient Care Coordinator. This position is perfect for:
- Foreign-trained physicians or nurses (non-licensed in the U.S.)
- Retired RNs or NPs looking for a non-physical, desk-based role
- Individuals who are quick learners, systems-oriented, and want to work closely with physicians
- You will be trained directly by Dr. Mejia and will play a key role in managing our result tracking, quality measures, provider coordination, and insurance compliance.
Responsibilities
- Review and manage abnormal lab results, radiology, mammograms, DEXAs, and referrals.
- Alert leadership if there is provider or staff non-compliance with documentation or follow-ups
- Coordinate with fax server triage, call center, referral vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure claims are submitted for all value-based measures and documented results.
- Manage prescription refill workflows, including documentation, review periods, and safety protocols.
- Oversee peer-to-peer (P2P) processes and specialist result reconciliation.
- Ensure patients with abnormal results return for follow-up (tracking via lab reconciliation queues and EMR)
- Maintain direct communication with clinical staff, MAs, and leadership
Skills:
- Must type efficiently (40+ WPM)

- Strong EMR navigation skills – ECW experience is a plus
- Must be technologically savvy, comfortable with AI-integrated tools, portals, and digital workflows.
- Must be comfortable with Excel, Google Drive, online forms, and result tracking logs.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Be available for potential emergency after hour in case of natural disaster or projects that are do.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
