The Role:
You’ll lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy, building awareness, igniting engagement, and driving sales. You'll lead a small but mighty team and work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and leadership to make sure the world knows exactly what makes a Killer Brownie®... killer.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Brand Strategy:
· Ensure the strategic direction for the brand ladders back to the overall business goals and objectives
· Ensure every touchpoint—from website to social feeds to packaging—is consistent with the brand strategy
Marketing Execution Strategy:
· Translate company strategies into actionable marketing strategies and plans
· Identify opportunities and drive growth of the business through the marketing team and their capabilities
· Spearhead consumer insights strategy to drive brand campaigns including targeting, messaging, and product development (in partnership with innovation team)
· Track performance across campaigns and channels, leveraging insights to refine strategies, optimize spend, and fuel growth
· Act as innovation partner - Collaborate with innovation team on naming, launch strategy, and GTM plans for new flavor drops and limited time offers
· Act as omnichannel partner – Collaborate with IFG sales to ensure the omnichannel marketing strategy is aligned with the Killer Brownie business strategy
People Strategy:
· Uncover the strengths of each team member and have a strong understanding of how those strengths work together to create the most killer Marketing team
· Actively work with each marketing team member to understand their career goals and provide development opportunities which may help them achieve those goals
· Maintain a positive and collaborate Marketing team culture
· Continue to build and grow Marketing team capabilities, including identifying and developing potential future marketing leaders
Business Strategy:
· Serve as a Leadership Team member, working with the Leadership Team to help define business strategy and goals and drive overall business growth
· Manage the efficient and effective deployment of the Marketing Budget and its impact on the business P&L
· Work cross-functionally to ensure marketing is supporting the business needs and goals, especially IFG Sales, in addition to meeting client and consumer needs
· Develop relationships with marketing (and other functional assets) across the IFG ecosystem to support Killer Brownie marketing strategy
Here’s What You Should Have:
· 7+ years in marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role—CPG, food/beverage, or DTC brand experience preferred
· Killer creative instincts with a strong understanding of brand building, storytelling, and digital-first marketing
· Experience developing and managing teams, agencies, and budgets
· The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment—willing to roll up your sleeves one day and present to the board the next
· Strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills with a propensity for action

This role will report directly to our Chief Executive Officer.
Location: This position will work out of our office in Miamisburg, OH at least 2 to 3 days a week. We highly value our in-person together time, especially at the senior leadership levels.
