We’re investing in the growth of our Consumer Healthtech portfolio. We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, new business minded strategic leader to drive that charge. The SVP, Healthtech will lead the expansion of our presence in this high-potential space, bringing vision, industry expertise, and strategic oversight to shape a world-class offering. Our ideal candidate will have experience spanning wearables, digital health tracking as well as health and wellness brands, fitness and nutritional support platforms.
Working closely with our Consumer VP and with strong support from agency leadership, this leader will be at the forefront of client strategy, business development, and team growth.
We’re looking for a leader who brings authenticity to their relationships, thinks with astute precision, and adapts with ease in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This role calls for someone who takes full accountability for results, pushes boundaries with audacity, and brings the ambition to drive meaningful growth for both our clients and our agency.
Salary Range
$175,000 - $210,000
Requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Build SourceCode’s global brand awareness in healthtech via networking, speaking events and local activations - with a focus on developing and converting the new business pipeline
- Grow SourceCode’s healthtech portfolio and SourceCode’s revenue overall by engaging and securing opportunities to pitch new business
- Take direct responsibility for the growth of the portfolio’s P&L, setting the commercial strategy, team performance metrics, marketing and new business targets
- Oversee and lead larger healthtech clients serving as senior strategic client advisor, providing strategic guidance, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of client business to lead long-term partnerships while mentoring and leading team members to deliver excellence by providing development support
- Build a deep understanding of the clients’ objectives to develop clear business cases around opportunities for engagement; ask questions, listen and synthesize information to identify the critical elements of a task, and understand what constitutes success
- Support with crafting year-long plans, as well as dedicated comms strategies around inbound client projects and initiatives
- Understand and implement agency financial policies and procedures and seamlessly manage agency resources and utilization
- Align with the team to set internal client KPIs, ensuring performance benchmarks for client goals are met each quarter; work with teams to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered to scope, budget and team resourcing goals
- Lead development of client campaigns and new business recommendations
- Work with peers to further the agency's mission, goals and culture
- Actively participate in agency marketing initiatives by proactively seeking speaking engagements, drafting thought leadership and working with agency marketing to expand your reach
- As a team leader you’ll directly manage the VP Consumer while collaborating closely with global and national teams
- Organize your own workload against priority and importance for the good of the team, and helping other team members to do the same
- Manage a team of PR or Marketing professionals and mentor junior teams, modeling behaviors and ensuring the success of your team

Maintain 80% client retention across healthtech clientsDeliver 80% or higher client satisfaction scores Ensure client loss due to performance is Participate in ongoing client analysis (tenure, service offerings, satisfaction) to identify trends to inform and support year-end planningConduct monthly/quarterly conversations with key clients
Client Growth
- Business Development and Integrated Growth for Portfolio
- Help maintain 60%+ win rate of new business proposals across SourceCode
- Through your network and networking initiatives bring in 1-2 viable new business leads/quarter
- Supported by agency/industry networking; PRSA, AMEC, Marketing leadership, utilizing personal network
Operational Excellence (support Stability & Growth) Measured By
- Own the financial performance of the portfolio, setting commercial strategy and directing VPs on executing growth plans and revenue targets, ensuring long-term agency financial health
- Support VPs & AD/SADs in delivering 20% organic growth
- Participation in L&D initiatives with HR/Management Team
- Maintain reasonable over (~15%) / under (~5%) service across portfolio, barring any specific prior client arrangements that are in place
Visibility and Thought Leadership to Support Agency Growth measured by:
- Development of and participation in Executive Brand Platform program
- Identification of speaking/networking opportunities; participate in 1-2/quarter
What You Have
- You have a track record of success as a leader in the agency world with a strong understanding of integrated communications, media relations, corporate communications, and digitally-minded public relations with client leadership experience
- You are adept at flexing up and down as needed to support the portfolio’s growth
- Prior successful P&L management experience
- A proven track record of creating, overseeing and driving strategy for clients that yields top results
- You’re comfortable interacting with senior clients including C-level stakeholders
- Track record of winning and growing business portfolio
- Ability to inspire clients and colleagues; mentoring junior teams, modeling behaviors, and ensuring the success of your team is important to you
- A passion for technology and/or the mechanics of integrated communications and storytelling, you are fascinated by how brands and consumers interact today
- Ambition and drive. You enjoy working through complex challenges and problem solving
- Experience in managing client campaigns, project managing tasks, workloads and KPIs both for client and commercial success
