Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead business development and sales efforts for our Healthcare IT Services and Solutions portfolio. This role requires deep understanding of the healthcare domain—including providers, payers, and life sciences—as well as a proven track record in selling complex IT solutions such as digital transformation, RCM, healthcare interoperability, analytics, cloud services, and application development/modernization.
The Sales Director will be responsible for expanding our footprint in existing accounts and acquiring new logos, driving revenue growth, and building strategic relationships with key healthcare clients and ecosystem partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and achieve sales targets by developing and executing go-to-market strategies for healthcare IT services and solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with healthcare providers, payers, and life sciences organizations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with C-level and senior IT/business executives.
- Collaborate with delivery, solution, and pre-sales teams to craft compelling proposals and value-driven solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including RFP responses, contract negotiations, and onboarding handover.
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends, digital health innovations, and regulatory developments (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Interoperability mandates).
- Develop strategic account plans and maintain accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at healthcare industry events, conferences, and webinars.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT services sales, with at least 5 years focused on the healthcare vertical.
- Deep understanding of healthcare business models, workflows, and technologies.
- Proven success in consultative/solution-based selling of IT services such as:
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
- Healthcare Interoperability (HL7, FHIR, EDI)
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) integrations
- Data analytics & reporting
- Cloud migration & DevOps
- Application development & support
- Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with or selling to clients like hospitals, health systems, payers, PBMs, or health tech companies.
- Familiarity with platforms like Epic, Cerner, Salesforce Health Cloud, or major payor systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or Technology; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Existing relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare ecosystem.
- Understanding of the sales cycles for government healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid) is a plus.
