Job Description
The Sr. Director of Digital Health is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and advancing initiatives that improve clinical care and wellness through digital information and telecommunication technologies. Efforts focus on enhancing patient access, improving user satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of clinical workflows in ambulatory, inpatient, and home-based environments and healthcare technology trends. The Sr. Director of Digital Health will identify and develop digital health services across all care settings, including primary and specialty care, inpatient care, home care, case management, and population health. As a visible leader, the Director will partner with operations to develop and implement sustainable workflows while fostering collaboration and buy -in through routine engagement with clinical and operational teams.
Education And Credentials
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related discipline Required. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration or a related discipline preferred.
Experience
7 years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration required. A comprehensive understanding of the telehealth landscape, IT infrastructure, Epic capabilities, and clinical workflows to effectively guide the organization’s digital health initiatives required. Strong communicator with a proven ability to explain digital health technical concepts to a non-technical audience in a way that they can understand and appreciate required. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact diplomatically with diverse internal and external individuals required. Comfortable managing in a flexible, changing and virtual environment, with the ability to be ready to adjust plans and direction in response to feedback and the iterative nature of digital health required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
