More than 50 million Americans are unpaid caregivers, often unsupported and overwhelmed by systems that weren’t built for them. Neela combines human empathy with AI-driven tools to make caregiving smarter, simpler, and more sustainable—for families, providers, and communities.
Founded in 2024, Neela is backed by mission-driven investors and healthcare innovators. We’re growing fast and looking for a marketing leader to tell our story, drive adoption, and build a category-defining brand in caregiving technology.
The Opportunity
As Neela’s first SVP of Marketing, you’ll define and scale our entire marketing function from the ground up. You’ll craft a compelling narrative for the company, establish our leadership in caregiving and digital health, and drive measurable demand generation across both B2C (family caregivers) and B2B (healthcare partners, payers, and senior living providers).
This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing at a company tackling one of the biggest unmet needs in healthcare. You’ll set the vision, build the team, and own the outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Shape the Neela Story
- Define and evolve Neela’s brand positioning and messaging across caregiver, healthcare, and partner audiences.
- Develop a differentiated narrative that highlights Neela as the leader in caregiving technology.
- Ensure consistency of story across web, product, PR, investor, and sales touchpoints.
Drive Campaigns & Demand
- Build multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive both caregiver engagement (B2C) and partner adoption (B2B).
- Lead thought leadership and content initiatives that establish Neela as the trusted voice in caregiving and aging-in-place.
- Measure, analyze, and continuously optimize marketing performance to maximize ROI and pipeline impact.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Partner with Sales and Partnerships to deliver pipeline growth and accelerate deal cycles.
- Work closely with Product to translate caregiver and partner insights into go-to-market strategy.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to build caregiver trust and drive long-term loyalty.
Build a World-Class Marketing Org
- Recruit, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team spanning brand, demand gen, product marketing, and comms.
- Build scalable processes, frameworks, and playbooks to support rapid growth.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to balance creativity with accountability.
You Are a Great Fit If You…
- Have deep healthcare/tech experience – 10+ years leading marketing in digital health, healthtech, or consumer healthcare, with a track record of building brand and demand functions.
- Can translate complexity into clarity – You know how to distill nuanced healthcare solutions into narratives that resonate emotionally and strategically with caregivers, providers, and payers.
- Own outcomes – You’ve built marketing strategies from scratch, delivered measurable results, and can balance long-term brand building with short-term pipeline goals.
- Are mission-driven – You believe caregiving deserves innovation, empathy, and respect, and you want to use your skills to make a lasting impact.
