About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scribe to support our inpatient psychiatry team. - Scheduling and Coordination: Assist in organizing and prioritizing patient rounds and consultations as directed by the psychiatrist.
- Information Gathering: Collect and summarize relevant patient information, including past medical records, lab results, and treatment history, to support clinical decision-making.
- EHR Navigation: Efficiently navigate the electronic health record (EHR) system to input and retrieve patient information as needed.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as managing correspondence, completing documentation requests, and preparing reports related to patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher preferred).
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology, particularly in psychiatry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Perks
Our goals are to find the best, attract the best, and offer a competitive salary—which is why we prioritize the quality of the hire over the number of hires. We offer zero-stress medical, dental, and vision coverage, competitive salaries, and a generous PTO policy. We are excited to tell you about a few "perks” we offer that are unique to Psychplus. We’ve spent time thinking through what it means to be a modern mental health company and how we can better align these additional perks with our mission and values.
