The Encompass Group is proud to partner with a Goldman Sachs portfolio company in their search for a Vice President of Marketing. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity to build and scale a marketing function for a rapidly growing healthcare organization serving rural and suburban communities through urgent care, primary care, behavioral health, and telehealth services.

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to design the brand vision, develop a scalable marketing playbook, and drive patient acquisition and community engagement as the company expands across multiple states. This high-impact role will work closely with the executive team and private equity partners, offering significant growth potential into a future CMO role.

🔹 What You’ll Do

Own Marketing Strategy & Execution: Build and implement a holistic marketing playbook spanning brand development, clinic openings, patient acquisition, and community engagement.
Lead a High-Impact Team: Oversee and mentor a growing team of marketing, digital, and project management professionals, while collaborating cross-functionally with business development, operations, and clinical leadership.
Drive Growth Across Multiple Verticals: Support expansion into behavioral health, urgent care, primary care, and telehealth; develop go-to-market strategies for new service lines and clinic launches.
Strengthen Brand Identity: Position the organization as a trusted, patient-focused provider in rural and suburban markets, emphasizing quality care and community connection.
Implement Scalable Systems: Oversee marketing technology (CRM, digital tools) and bring a data-driven approach to patient engagement and retention.
Be Both Strategic and Hands-On: Balance high-level vision-setting with execution to ensure consistent, measurable results.

🔹 What We’re Looking For

10+ years of progressive marketing leadership (healthcare, retail healthcare, or high-growth multi-site business experience preferred).
Proven success in brand building, digital marketing, and market expansion strategies.
Experience leading and scaling teams in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
Understanding of B2C and B2B marketing for service-based industries; medspa, urgent care, or retail healthcare experience is a plus.
Highly collaborative leadership style with strong executive presence.
Growth mindset: Ideal for a Director-level leader ready for VP scope, or a VP seeking a pathway to CMO.
