We are looking for Epic Application Analysts at multiple levels (I–III) to support and enhance our Epic MyChart patient portal. This is a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with patient-centered innovation, ensuring that thousands of patients have easy, secure access to their health information and providers.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary support resource for Epic MyChart.
- Design, build, and test workflows that improve the digital patient experience.
- Partner with clinical and operational teams to expand portal functionality and engagement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues while implementing long-term system improvements.
- Collaborate with Epic and project leadership to deliver new features and optimizations.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong knowledge of Epic MyChart capabilities and patient-facing technology.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows and the patient journey.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to shifting business needs.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills, building trust with both technical and clinical teams.
- A proactive approach with resilience under pressure.
Experience Levels
Analyst I
- Bachelor’s degree or clinical license/certification.
- Up to 3 years of related experience (or 4+ years in lieu of degree).
- Preferred: Epic MyChart training/certification or exposure to patient portal systems.
Analyst II
- Bachelor’s degree or clinical license/certification.
- 3–7 years of experience (or 4+ years in lieu of degree).
- Preferred: Epic MyChart certification; hands-on patient portal experience.
Analyst III
- Bachelor’s degree or clinical license/certification.
- 7+ years of experience (or 8+ years in lieu of degree).
- Preferred: Advanced Epic MyChart certification and proven success in patient portal optimization.
Certification Requirements
- Internal PIH Health/Altera staff: Must complete Epic certification within 120 days of hire/transfer.
- External candidates: Active Epic MyChart certification required upon hire.
