The Vice President of Virtual Health will be a key player in leading and overseeing Unified’s virtual health strategy and operations. A core component of our growth strategy is the adoption and successful implementation of telehealth and other virtual care services to enhance patient access, improve care delivery, and promote patient health. This executive will lead a team of professionals to execute on the growth strategy for virtual health opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive virtual health strategy aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for digital innovation and new virtual care models to expand services and improve care delivery
- Oversee the design, implementation, and scaling of virtual health programs across clinical specialties.
- Ensure programs meet regulatory, compliance, and quality standards.
- Partner with IT, clinical, and operational leaders to ensure platform functionality, security, and integration with EHR systems.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure virtual care services are evidence-based, safe, and patient-centered.
- Monitor clinical outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, payers, and external partners to expand virtual health offerings.
- Educate and support clinicians in adopting virtual care technologies and workflows
- Stay current on telehealth regulations, licensure requirements, and reimbursement policies at federal, state, and payer levels.
- Develop business plans and ROI analyses for virtual health initiatives.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive revenue growth through virtual care channels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of healthcare leadership experience, with at least 5 years in telehealth or digital health program development.
- Deep understanding of telehealth technologies, virtual care models, and healthcare regulations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 40+%, including overnight visits.
