Join a nationally recognized healthcare system as the Manager of Epic Ancillary Applications, where you’ll lead strategy and support for critical clinical systems including Beaker (Lab), Radiant (Radiology), and Cupid (Cardiology).
In this role, you will oversee a high-impact team responsible for the day-to-day management, enhancement, and deployment of Epic’s ancillary platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with clinical and administrative leaders to align technology with care delivery, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Epic Ancillary Applications team overseeing lab, imaging, and cardiology modules
- Guide configuration, maintenance, optimization, and issue resolution for Beaker, Radiant, and Cupid
- Drive new Epic module implementations and ensure timely upgrades and successful rollouts
- Work cross-functionally with IT, clinical, and operational leaders to align technology with patient care goals
- Translate clinical workflows into scalable Epic solutions that enhance user experience and patient outcomes
- Establish team objectives, monitor performance, and provide mentorship and support
- Ensure system integrity, reliability, and regulatory compliance through effective governance and documentation
đź’ˇ What You Bring:
- Strong understanding of diagnostic and ancillary service workflows (lab, radiology, cardiology)
- 5+ years in healthcare IT with experience in an analyst, lead, or manager capacity
- Deep familiarity with Epic Beaker, Radiant, and/or Cupid (certifications preferred)
- Proven leadership in managing complex projects and cross-functional technical teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in clinical, technical, or healthcare-related field
- Strategic mindset with strong troubleshooting, prioritization, and communication skills
🌟 Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic certification(s) in Beaker, Radiant, or Cupid
- At least 3 years of hands-on Epic systems experience
- 2+ years in a formal leadership role
- Demonstrated success driving digital transformation or process improvement in a clinical setting
