Role: Vice President – Healthcare Growth Equity

About the Role:
Our client, a leading Healthcare-focused growth equity firm based in San Francisco, is seeking a talented & driven Vice President to join their investment team. This role offers a flexible start date and the potential for long-term growth within the firm. This is an fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected firm with 50+ years of combined Healthcare investing experience, and over $1.5B in AUM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the firm's Partners and Principals across all stages of the investment lifecycle - from deal sourcing & due diligence to execution, portfolio management, and exit strategy.
- Engage with a broad network of stakeholders, including high-growth private companies, leading venture firms, and strategic operators in Healthcare Services.
- Leverage a flexible investment mandate across the Healthcare spectrum, including Medical Devices, Biopharma, Diagnostics/Tools, Digital Health, Healthcare IT & Services.
About the Candidate:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, or venture capital.
- Demonstrated interest & experience in the Healthcare sector.
- Proven ability to lead financial diligence, build and audit financial models, and develop investment theses with limited oversight.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly.
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university; advanced degrees or technical backgrounds (e.g., in science or engineering) are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, high integrity, and a collaborative, low-ego approach to teamwork.
