Key Responsibilities
Financial & Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Handle banking transactions and reconciliations
Medical Billing & Administrative:
- Learn and perform medical billing and coding (training provided for motivated candidates)
- Process insurance claims and follow up on payments
- Manage patient accounts and payment plans
- Handle general office administration and correspondence
Practice Support:
- Assist with scheduling and patient communications
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support special projects and practice growth initiatives
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and vendors
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency with computers and technology
- Experience with QuickBooks (essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous medical office experience (strong advantage)
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding
- Experience with medical practice management software
- Associate's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
