Patient Content Review Specialist (Behavioral Health) to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$32/hr - $46/hr Depending on experience and location
Position Overview
Our client is looking for a Patient Content Review Specialist (Behavioral Health) to review behavioral health content submitted by patients, such as messages, assessments, and forms. You will identify potential risks (signs of suicidality, abuse, or self-harm) and escalate urgent cases to the appropriate internal teams.
Responsibilities Of The Patient Content Review Specialist (Behavioral Health)
- Review flagged patient content for behavioral health concerns.
- Follow established protocols to escalate, de-escalate, or resolve cases.
- Prioritize and manage a large caseload.
- Log decisions and actions accurately using internal tools.
- Collaborate with Clinical, Compliance, and Operations teams.
- Contribute to improving internal workflows and risk detection tools.
Required Experience/Skills for the Patient Content Review Specialist (Behavioral Health):
- 2+ years in behavioral health, crisis response, content moderation, or a related area.
- Familiarity with mental health risk indicators (e.g., suicidality, self-harm, abuse).
- Clear, empathetic written communication.
- Should have strong judgment in emotionally sensitive situations.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Patient Content Review Specialist (Behavioral Health):
- Background in HIPAA-regulated or digital health environments.
- Experience with crisis lines, triage systems, or trust & safety operations.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, including Psychology, Social Work, or Public Health, is preferred.
