Your Role
The Medical Research & Value Demonstration (MRVD) Associate II is responsible to lead execution of tactics within their defined role. The MRVD Associate II will work on a combination of activities for a designated area within MRVD with the primary focus on executing day-to-day operations of Compassionate Use Programs (CUP). The role will also oversee the day-to-day operations of various other activities, based on skills and experience, that includes Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR), Collaboration Studies , and other Real World Data (RWD) Studies (e.g., claims, charts, electronic health records, survey, patient registry, preference, etc.) as well as evidence generation, medical affairs, and health economic deliverables (e.g., literature reviews, comparative effectiveness analyses, economic models, value dossiers, medical payer engagement projects, innovative digital tools, field materials, etc.).
The MRVD Associate II will apply their knowledge to be able to problem solve and have a proactive approach to develop and execute action plans to complete individual projects. They will be able to work with limited direction and will exemplify professionalism and critical thinking skills to complete work with high quality.
The MRVD Associate II will be able to develop new processes that help drive efficient work, manage contracts and budgets, lead vendor and internal cross functional meetings, and have excellent organizational skills to effectively complete action items and drive individual projects. This role will have added operational responsibilities working closely with MRVD leadership and cross-functional team members. This will be a global (worldwide) responsibility covering US and ex-US markets.
Location Classification – Hybrid:
This role will be required to work onsite 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday), or more depending on business needs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Execute program operations and lead day-to-day operations of the Compassionate Use Program as well as for multiple evidence generation projects (e.g., IIRs, collaboration studies, and RWD studies). Serve as the communication conduit between the sites, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Lead preparation of materials for committee reviews and approvals.
- Support CUP strategy. This will include corresponding with CUP physician and support staff, tracking participant status, creating, and disseminating status reports, and participating in project team meetings. Lead the management of the CUP email inbox, including replying to inquiries using approved response language, tracking escalations, and ensuring appropriate follow-up until resolution.
- Provide tactical and operational expertise for Investigator-Initiated Research (IIR) portfolio management. Track receipt, review, and manage proposals process. Communicate status to internal and external stakeholders. Lead preparation of materials for committee reviews and approvals.
- Apply project management skills to execute operational study tactics for medical Life Cycle Management (LCM) studies, including collaboration, safety surveillance, and non-interventional studies. Includes tracking of contract and study milestones, participate in study set up activities and coordination among internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide execution support of additional HEOR deliverables as assigned (e.g., literature reviews, comparative effectiveness analyses, economic models, value dossiers, medical payer engagement projects, innovative digital tools, field materials, etc.).
- Adheres to all applicable SOPs, working guidance, workflows, required reporting, maintaining compliant support of programs.
- Participate in MRVD ad hoc projects as needed. May assist in meeting minutes and implementation of quality control processes.

Role Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in research methodology preferred (e.g., Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Services Research, Psychometrician, etc.) or life sciences; master’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of relevant work experience; or master’s degree;
- Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience preferred
- Ideally, the incumbent will have a science background with active experience in aforementioned areas, ideally in oncology or rare diseases
- Technical knowledge and skills to be able to effectively use SmartSheet, Power Point, Excel, Word and SharePoint (or similar online document sharing system). The incumbent must like working with data and reports.
- Incumbent must have track record of working well in a dynamic environment and enjoy working with different stakeholders (clinical, pre-clinical, commercial, external customers, etc.).
- Critical thinking skills with unique problem-solving abilities for new and novel obstacles
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
- Good analytical and organizational skills, project management and attention to detail

- Strong interpersonal communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors effectively and clearly in a remote hybrid work environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally including overnight stay driven by business need.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $85,900.00 - $108,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
