The Front Office Coordinator Director plays a supportive role in overseeing the administrative and operational functions our optometry and low vision and optical optometry practice..

This position is combines solid competency with a "folksy" yet efficient authorization, scheduling and billing details in an eye care environment. The strongest canidate will be a people pleaser, have solid technongy skills and be a team player. One to three years of experience in the office operations of an optometry or optical practice, scheduling, referrals, terminolgy and more. You will be flexible and love to grow and learn.

Duties

Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and medical records management to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques to support clinical staff.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care services in referrals to and from ophthtalmological eye care. and optical specialties.
Execute ystems for tracking patient care metrics and improving office workflows.
Ensure proper documentation of medical records in accordance with legal standards.
Manage social Media

Experience

Proven experience in a healthcare administrative role is helpful
Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and aseptic technique is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care are essential.
Experience in medical billing or optical settings is a plus.
Proficiency in managing E H R systems and office software applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to effectively interact with patients, families, and staff.

Pay: $36,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
