POSITION SUMMARY

The Digital Health Analyst works at the intersection of clinical/business workflows and enabling technology. This role

leads and participates in projects and performance improvement efforts aimed at technology optimization and

advancement. The Digital Health Analyst will work with a variety of devices and software applications and reporting

tools inherent to those software platforms. This role requires engagement and relationship management with a broad

group of internal and external stakeholders including Care Direct management and service line staff, clinical and

technical staff at UW Health and software and service vendors.

Education: - Associate’s degree in related field required

Experience: - Experience in healthcare industry

Knowledge and use of healthcare software systems (e.g. Epic, Brightree)
Participation in projects to implementation new workflows or information technology

Miscellaneous: - Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

ESSENTIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE

Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with Care Direct business, clinical, and operations leaders,

including key partners at UW Health and outside industry advisors.

Provide expert guidance to optimize and advance the use of technology platforms and associated workflows. This

includes serving as a business relationship management representative between internal stakeholders and

vendor representatives (e.g. Brightree).

Participate in evaluation of business opportunities and collaborative relationships that will advance the vision and

goals of the department. Perform quantitative and qualitative research to support development of proposals and

plans.

Lead initiatives of significant scope to enhance platforms, deliver solutions, and provide on-going optimization and

support.

Develop ad-hoc information and analyses as needed to support ongoing management and decision making to

improve customer service, productivity, and expense management.

Successfully completes initial and ongoing organizational and department education, training, and competency

requirements.
