Are you passionate about creating a positive and comfortable dental experience for children? We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Business Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental practice. As a vital part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care for our young patients.

Schedule:

Monday through Thursday 7:30am-5pm

Friday (as needed) 6:15am-3pm

Responsibilities:

Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and manage patient appointments, ensuring a well-organized schedule that accommodates both patients and the dental team.
Patient Communication: Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide information about appointments, procedures, and post-care instructions.
Check-in and Check-out: Greet patients and families, manage paperwork, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
Billing and Insurance: Assist with billing and insurance processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely submission.
Maintain Records: Keep patient records updated and organized, both in physical files and digital systems.
Supply Management: Monitor and replenish dental supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Sterilization: Assist in maintaining a clean and sterile environment, following strict infection control protocols.
Child-Friendly Environment: Help create a welcoming and child-friendly atmosphere in the clinic to alleviate dental anxiety in young patients.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in a dental office or healthcare setting. Training will be provided.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with children and their parents.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage appointments, paperwork, and office supplies efficiently.
Compassion: A genuine care for the well-being of children and their dental experience.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
Tech Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital record-keeping systems.
