Full Time Dental Receptionist. Position Overview

Our practice is in South Lyon, MI, which is just 45-minutes northwest of downtown Detroit. If you enjoy outdoor activities, then you’ll love picking apples at Erwin’s Orchard, biking and hiking at the Huron Valley Rail trail, or challenging yourself to a round of golf at one of the many local courses. South Lyon is home to quaint shops, museums, and great breweries like the Witches Hat Brewing Company where you can gather with friends and family to enjoy food and drinks.

What You’ll Be Working On

Dental Receptionist Responsibilities:

· Greet patients and register new patients according to established office protocols.

· Answer and manage phone calls.

· Benefit input and related responsibilities.

· Correspondence responsibilities.

· Presenting treatment plans.

· Be solution driven

· Be a patient advocate

Qualifications

● High School Diploma or equivalent required

● At least 3-6 months of experience in a dental practice is preferred

● Experience with Dentrix Software & Digital X-rays preferred

● Proficient with basic computer skills

● Team-oriented with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

● Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive, and patient demeanor

● Demonstrated attention to detail
