Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist
Launch Therapy Center is seeking an organized, compassionate person to serve as a Patient Care Coordinator. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with patients and families in person, on the phone, through email, and text message. Candidates should be a team player that is punctual, dependable, and able to multi-task in a busy environment. Only candidates with at least one consecutive year of medical office experience will be considered. Applicants without one consecutive year of experience should not apply. Additionally, the skills tests and screener questions are required to be considered for this position.

Duties:

Patient intake, data entry, and documentation management
Schedule and patient management
Verify insurance benefits
Communication between the office and clinic
Maintaining confidentiality and privacy practices
Ability to communicate with patients to ensure excellent customer service
Knowledge of keyboarding, data entry and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products
Assisting with infection control procedures.
Working knowledge of electronic HICFA 1500 based billing, digital claims editing, authorization requests, and insurance policies/procedures. Specifically Medicaid.
Willing to be trained in ERA posting and reconciliation, credentialing, and human resources tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
