About You:

We are looking for a strategic HR Leader with a strong generalist background, a keen eye for detail and a passion for systems and processes. Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement HR policies and systems that align with overall business needs and strategy and ensure objectivity, fairness and consistency.

· Own implementation of HRIS (ADP Workforce Now), manage structural changes to system going forward.

· Partner with Talent Business Partners and People and Culture team to build culture and connectivity across the organization, specifically focusing on the Healthcare vertical.

· Oversee employee performance management, terminations, and investigations. Conduct workplace investigations, make recommendations on actions to resolve and represent organization at personnel-related hearings when needed.

· Provide coaching and guidance to people leaders to ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and practices.

· Implement and manage compliance training.

· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance, including, but not limited to:

Workers Compensation
FLSA
Leave Administration
SUI (Unemployment) and SIT (State Income Tax Withholding)
EEO
401k
OSHA

· Ensure legal compliance across all HR policies, procedures, and practices.

· Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

· Support employee onboarding and offboarding.

· Oversee HR reporting internally and externally.

· Play a critical role in the due diligence process and conduct comprehensive reviews of all HR policies and systems for potential new ventures and acquisitions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· 8+ years of progressive HR leadership with a generalist background.

· Bachelor's Degree required.

· Deep expertise in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) implementation and management, preferably ADP Workforce Now.

· Staffing industry experience preferred.

· Healthcare HR experience preferred.

· Knowledge of legislation governing benefit plans (ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PPACA).

· Demonstrated ability to get stuff done while also being future focused on the development of strategic initiatives.

· Ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

· High EQ with a strong dose of empathy and deep understanding of business principals.

· Proven ability to lead and develop a team.

· Exemplary attention to detail.

· Proficiency in MS Office365.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

· Experience implementing and overseeing HR and People related metrics.

· Ability to be onsite in either Grand Rapids, MI or Utica, NY – working in a hybrid environment with some travel (not more than 15%).

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
