Rate:

Negotiable, Starting at $20/hour + PTO and Holiday pay.

Locally owned General Dentistry office looking to add a professional, qualified, and friendly face to an existing team of excellent dental staff. Our mission is to provide compassionate and quality dental care to our growing patient base.

General Job Description:

Front office receptionist at a small, general dentistry office. Employee will report to the doctor along with the existing front office administrator for tasks and direction. Front office responsibilities will be split between front office staff in order to ensure smooth and streamlined patient experience. Employee’s duties and responsibilities are outlined below, but may include additional tasks that fall under the umbrella of a dental receptionist.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting patients and visitors
Answering phones
Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments
Maintaining office schedule
Taking payment
Handling emails, physical mail, and faxing
Operating dental software for charting and treatment planning
Maintaining organized patient charts and notes
Light cleaning and organizing

Competencies:

High level of professionalism and customer service skills
Organizational skills
Multitasking and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with digital radiology
Basic computer and typing skills

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications:

Prior dental reception or dental assisting experience preferred but not needed to apply.
