Our integrative clinic is looking to add an experienced, dependable individual with excellent attention to detail to join our dynamic front desk team.

Our Medical Office Coordinator will work directly with our medical staff to assist with running the clinic. This is a challenging, complex position that requires Quickbooks and insurance billing experience. Serious inquiries only, please.

Hours: 30 to 35 hours/week

Salary: $19/hour to start; $20/hour after 6 months

Environment: Busy integrative clinic with a staff of four, which is why it is important that we all work well together as a team

Components:

1. Reception – appointments, callbacks, voice mails, email management, processing patients in and out, etc.

2. Financials – Insurance billing, Square credit card reconciliation, Quickbook entry, deposits, etc.

3. Physician Support – assisting with patient management, overseeing lab requests and shipping, etc.

4. Digital: data input, working with our billing department, use of Microsoft Office applications, etc.

5. Office oversight - managing incoming inputs, working with back office staff, liaison with other providers, etc

Requirements - if you don't have these, this job won't be a good fit

Experience working with Quickbook
Experience with insurance billing - medical billing a plus
Positive, professional attitude when dealing with staff and sick patients
Comfortable with protocols to keep staff healthy and safe in a post-pandemic world (cleaning,wipe downs, locking doors, etc.)
Comfortable being off your phone and social media feed during work hours for what may seem a long time (necessary family interactions exempted)
Organized, with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with confidential and technical information
Able to dependably show up to work on-time
Able to do what you have committed to doing without needing constant supervision
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position e.g. lift up to35 lbs., able to be on your feet for several hours, etc.
Office computer software experience i.e. Google Docs, Microsoft Office, etc.
High school diploma
Fluent English speaking and writing ability
Required state/federal ID (e.g. valid driver's license) and functional transportation

Preferred - these are things that will make the job more enjoyable for you

Medical office computer software experience i.e. EMR, CareCloud, etc
Medical office experience
